Husky Highlights week of September 14th

Message from Principal Soubasis

Good afternoon, Husky Families!

We have officially reached the halfway mark of the first nine weeks! This Thursday, student progress reports will be available online through Parent Access. This milestone marks a perfect opportunity to sit down with your student to reflect on their successes, navigate any challenges, and collaborate on setting meaningful goals for the remainder of the quarter and the school year ahead.

We also have plenty of exciting ways to show our school pride this week, starting with our student-athletes. Our soccer teams have two away games this week: Monday at Timber Springs and Thursday at Legacy. We would love to see a great turnout to cheer them on! Additionally, tomorrow night from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, we are hosting an AMS Spirit Night at Oh So Sweet in the Avalon Marketplace. Please consider stopping by for a delicious dessert and be sure to mention AMS at checkout to support our school.

Finally, don't forget that yearbooks are on sale (flyer below). September offers the lowest price of the year, so be sure to secure your copy today. If you have an eighth grader and are interested in purchasing a dedicated 8th-grade yearbook ad to celebrate their journey, those spaces are filling up fast, so please reserve yours as soon as possible. Thank you for your continued partnership and support, and have a wonderful week!

GOOO HUSKIES!!!

Principal, Avalon Middle School

Athletics Fundraiser

Help Our Athletes—and Our Entire School—Succeed!
We are raising funds to support the Avalon Middle School Athletic Programs and create a stronger, more connected school community for all AMS students!
Your donations directly support our athletes by helping provide essential equipment, facility/field improvements, athletic training supplies, celebrations/awards, and much more. But the impact goes beyond our athletes. We are investing in the overall student experience at Avalon Middle School—a strong athletic program builds school spirit, teamwork, leadership, school pride, and a stronger sense of community for everyone.
Every donation, big or small, helps us create better opportunities and memorable experiences for our entire Husky family.
Thank you for supporting AMS Athletics and helping make this an amazing HUSKY year! Click below to donate!
