Dear Husky Families,

This week is National Student Leadership Week, sponsored by the National Association of Secondary School Principals, the National Honor Society, and the National Junior Honor Society. Established in 1972, this year’s theme is “Serving Forward.” Here at Avalon Middle, we are proud to celebrate our student leaders by highlighting a different student leader each day! Special shout our to our Principal Advisory Council President: Veronica Bajo.
Our Administrative Assistants are true rock stars! We are deeply grateful for the dedication and daily support of Ms. Craft, Mrs. Lopez, Ms. McGivney, Ms. Melendez, Mr. Moreno, Ms. Nidhan, and Mr. Thompson—thank you for all that you do for our school community.
We look forward to welcoming families to our NJHS Induction on April 22. Best of luck to our Track Teams as they travel to Evans High School on Wednesday, April 22—we are cheering you on!
