Academic Requirements

Students are required to complete and pass four core academic classes each school year - Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science. Core courses differ by grade level and student readiness. Students are placed into advanced level courses based on FAST scores, teacher recommendation, and previous academic performance.

  • High School Promotion
    •  To be promoted from eighth grade involves the successful completion of three years of English, math, science and social studies.  Failed courses must be recovered before exiting middle school.  Please see the school counselors about course recovery options.

    • You can find more information from the FLDOE site HERE
